From The Heart Of Our Chair
I grew up in a household where my mom raised four children on her own, as my dad was absent from my life. At 15, I became a mother myself, and the early years of motherhood were incredibly challenging. I was just a child raising a child, trying to navigate life and figure out how to make it all work. Despite these difficulties, I completed high school and began college, but by 19, I was pregnant with my second child and had to drop out.
With few resources, I worked low-wage jobs and moved constantly in search of stability. Although I received government assistance to ease some financial burdens, there was a deep desire within me for more—more for myself, my children, and my life. I knew I was capable of more than my circumstances suggested.
I vividly remember the day I told my daughter that things wouldn’t always be this way. That moment marked the beginning of a shift in my mindset. My determination to change my circumstances grew stronger, and I was no longer willing to accept the struggles that had defined so many years of my life.
Through perseverance and by God's grace, I found myself working in Information Technology, a career that allowed me to support my family financially. My decision to pursue knowledge, better my life, and surround myself with positive influences paid off.
But then, God gave me a vision—to advocate for other single mothers. In 2019, that vision became a reality with the creation of Revolutionized, Inc., an organization dedicated to helping single moms achieve emotional, financial, and relational freedom. In 2020, I gathered a team of passionate individuals who share my heart for serving single moms and empowering them to live better lives.
Although I’m no longer a single mom, my commitment to supporting them remains steadfast. At Revolutionized, Inc., we connect single mothers with resources and services that help them develop professional skills, build financial stability, and strengthen relationships. Step by step, we’re working to transform lives and provide the support single moms need to thrive.
